The 318 Youth Ministry of Life Point Baptist Church exists to help teens joyfully BELONG, THRIVE, & SERVE as followers of Jesus at home, in the church, and in the community.

You've found the registration page for our 318 Youth Ministry Wednesday program. This 6:30 - 8:15 PM slot is a key time of ministry with our students during the school year (Sept-mid May). The ministry is open to students who are 12 years old and are entering 7th grade.

By registering, you're giving us the info we need to minister well to your student (their personal info, parent info, contact info, etc.). The $12 fee covers the cost of the student journal each teen will receive. The journal is an important piece of  the discipleship and community building each week.

A few program details:

  • First Night of 318 Wed. Ministry: Wed. Sept 10, 6:30 - 8:00 PM. We meet in classroom 2 in the church at 6:30; dismissal at 8 PM. We'll continue each Wed night in the fall (with a couple breaks), ending Dec. 10.
    • On Wednesdays, we will work through a series called "Teach Me Your Way: Surrender to Jesus as Savior, Submission to Jesus as Lord." We will focus on the heart of a disciple of Jesus, encouraging teens to "put off the old self" and "put on the new self." Special attention will be given to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount teaching.We will focus on the authority of God's Word and how we can follow it in all areas of life. 
    • Teens will receive a student journal that they will use each Wednesday night.
    • Teens can also participate in a Bible memory program as part of a scholarship for camp. The program will run on Wednesday nights, in parallel with youth group. More details to come.
  • Teen Sunday School: every Sunday at 9 AM in Room 1. Our fall series will be "Epic: An Around-the-World Journey Through Christian History." This unique, video-based series will help the teens grow in their appreciation of God's church through the ages and around the world.
  • Teen SNAC (Sunday Night After Church) Hangouts: usually the first Sunday night of the month, starting 10 minutes after the PM service (around 6:30). We meet at the church for a time of food, games, and testimonies. Pick up is at 8:30 PM. Cost is $4 to help with food.
